New Year’s Resolution To Eat Healthier

Most People Make Eating Healthier Their Annual New Year’s Resolutions, Right?

When it comes to the New Year, it is always about trying to do something different and making better choices, investing in your future. And what could possibly be the best investment for you personally? Your health and well being, of course.

A gluten free diet is actually more delicious and accessible than many think. This type of eating has many amazing benefits, so why not give it a try?  Start the new year on the right track!  Adopt a regimen of consuming natural, healthy, gluten free products.

What is Gluten Anyway?

Gluten is a type of protein found in grains like wheat, rye and barley. But don’t worry, you can still consume grain products, which are naturally gluten free, like – quinoa, corn, amaranth, buckwheat, rice and others. All other types of food are free of gluten-guilt, including meat, fish, dairy, fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes. However, be careful with packaged foods that may contain gluten, read the label on all products.

Why go gluten-free?

Avoiding gluten is a primary must for those with Celiac disease, but many others find themselves sensitive to gluten products as well. And when they try gluten-free products for sometime, they feel much better. Excluding gluten from their diets, can reduce bloating, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, migraines, joint and back aches and more. You just feel lighter! Many people report clearer skin after several months on a gluten free diet. Lately, it is becoming more and more popular to adopt the gluten free healthy eating lifestyle. In fact, you will feel more refreshed with healthy snacks between meals, rather than eating cookies or candy.

Get on the healthy eating track!

Beware of products like bread, rice and pasta. Highly processed products contain too many calories, carbohydrates and fat. For the days you have no time to plan, keep healthy snacks nearby at all times, such as gluten free snack bars, nuts and fresh or dried fruits.

Use your imagination and include more natural gluten free products. It is all about changing our attitude, improving our view and our lifestyles..

Want to step up your game?

When feeling comfortable with your gluten free diet and you want to improve – consider going dairy free as well. This would take more determination, strength and willpower; however, the benefits are priceless!  Nevertheless, you will not have to give up your gluten and dairy free, healthy snack bars, so choose them wisely.

To Your Health!

We know you’re careful about what you eat at meal times—lots of veggies, healthy protein, complex carbs. But snack time can be tricky because many “healthy” snack bars out there are loaded with sugar and calories or packed with preservatives and other ingredients concocted in a lab, not a kitchen.
